1. Who we are

Retro Louve is run by Bhakti Raj Gupta, sole proprietor, trading as "Retro Louve", at 4th Floor, 1/2571, Shree Radhe Apartment, Ram Nagar, Shahdara, New Delhi, Delhi 110032. Our websites are www.retrolouve.com and www.retrolouve.in. In this policy "we" and "us" mean Retro Louve.

2. What this policy covers

It covers the personal information we collect when you visit our website, create an account, place an order, contact us, or receive messages from us. If we change it, we will update this page and show the new date at the top.

3. What we collect

Your account	Name, email address, mobile number and password. The password is stored only in scrambled (hashed) form by our login provider, so nobody at Retro Louve can read it. Gender, if you add it to your profile.
Your orders and delivery	The delivery name, phone number and address you give, the items, sizes and prices, coupons and Louve Cash (wallet) used, order and invoice history.
Payments	Handled by Razorpay. We receive whether the payment succeeded, its reference number and the payment type. We never see or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank login.
Fit details (optional)	Height, weight and the measurements you choose to enter, used to suggest a size.
Messages, returns and exchanges	What you send through the contact form (name, email, phone, subject, message), return and exchange requests (order, item, reason), and emails, photos or videos you send us.
Your marketing choice	Whether the marketing box was ticked, when, where (sign-up or checkout) and the exact wording you saw.
Device and usage	Pages you visit, clicks, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. Our analytics may record how you move around a page, with everything you type and the text on the page hidden. If the checkout page breaks, an error report may include a short recording of that page, again with text and inputs hidden.
Cookies and similar tools	Cookies and browser storage that keep you logged in and your bag saved, analytics cookies, and the Meta Pixel cookies (_fbp, _fbc).

4. Why we use it

To take, pack, ship and deliver your orders, and to handle returns, exchanges and refunds.
To run your account and let you log in securely.
To take payments and to prevent fraud and misuse.
To issue GST invoices and keep the tax records the law requires.
To answer your questions and complaints.
To understand how the website is used, fix errors and make it better.
To measure how our ads perform (see section 8).
To send you offers, only as described in section 5.

5. Marketing messages and your choices

When you create an account or place an order, a box reading "Send me offers, new drops and Louve updates" is already ticked. If you leave it ticked, we will send you offers and updates by email and on WhatsApp from Retro Louve. If you do not want them, untick the box before you continue. Your order and account messages are not affected either way.

You can stop at any time: untick the box at your next checkout, click "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of any offer email, or write to retrolouve@gmail.com. We act on it promptly, and it applies to both email and WhatsApp.

6. Sensitive personal data

The only sensitive personal data we handle is your password, and we only keep it in scrambled (hashed) form through our login provider. We do not collect card, bank account or health information. By creating an account and accepting this policy you consent to us handling it as described here.

7. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share only what each service needs to do its job for us:

8. Cookies, pixels and ads

We and third parties, including Meta, use cookies, pixels and similar tools on this website to collect information about your visit and your purchases. Meta uses it to measure our ads and to show ads, including on Facebook and Instagram. You can stop this by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser, and you can change how Meta uses information for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

9. Where your information is kept

Our main database is in India (Mumbai). Some of the services in section 7 process information in the USA, Japan (our emails are sent out from Tokyo) and the European Union. We only use providers that are bound to protect it at least as well as this policy, and only because that is needed to run the website and deliver your orders.

10. How long we keep it

Orders, invoices and payment records: for as long as GST and tax law requires.
Your account: until you ask us to delete it (order records we must keep for tax stay).
Your marketing choice: while you have an account, and afterwards only as long as needed to show what you chose.
Security and error logs: for a limited period set by our service providers, and no longer than we need them.

11. How we protect it

The website only works over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), passwords are stored hashed, what you type is hidden from our analytics and error recordings, and access to customer information is limited to the two owners of Retro Louve and, for tax records only, our chartered accountant. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.

12. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy or summary of your information, to correct or update it, to delete it, to withdraw your consent, and to name someone who can act for you. Write to retrolouve@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days.

13. Children

This website is meant for adults (18 and over). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 or show them targeted ads.

The Grievance Officer acknowledges every complaint within forty-eight hours of receiving it and resolves it within one month from the date it is received. Each complaint gets a ticket number, which you can use to check its status with us.
